privacy policy

is this a scary legal, twisted policy?

naah! very simple and humanly treated policy in plain english.

why zazzy is interested in privacy?

well, because we take your privacy seriously. and we’re not just saying that. in addition, we are legally required to have privacy policy. but we do care. promise. :)

do i have to read this?

yes please. we want to keep you in loop with what we do with your privacy. also, we paid a hefty fees to our lawyers, so we want to make it worth.

ok, so what’s next?

now we ("zazzy") will explain to you ("you") how we ("zazzy") treat the personal information ("personal information") collect from visitors ("visitors").

wait, what is the deal with this quotation marks? what's personal information? and who's a visitor?

let us help you here. a "visitor" is someone who visits our website (zazzy.studio). like you. "personal information" is personally identified information about you such as your name, email address, postal address or phone number. anything that you share with us and not available publicly.

well, i’m kind of liking to read this.

yeah, it's cool right?

so what do you do with all these information you collect?

in general, we use the personal informations for three reasons.

  1. to improve our service
  2. to respond to enquiries
  3. to send newsletter to people who want and who all are on the list

that's fair. so what specifically don't you do with personal information you collect?

great question. we don't rent, share or sell your collected personal information with other people or not-affiliated compnies. except:

  • if you provide us with payment information for our services or something you buy from us. in such case, we submit your payment information to a 3rd party payment processor and accounting tool. which collects, stores and processes your payment on our behalf using industry-standard security measures.

if disclosure is reasonably necessary to investigate, or prevent, illegal action,

if disclosure is necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims, or to enforce the zazzy terms of service (if any),

if you specifically request we share the personal information you have provided, or

if zazzy merges or is acquired by another company.

when reasonable, we will make reasonable efforts to notify of such disclosure before it happens.

wow, that was quite a lawyery at the end.

yeah, that happens sometime.

i have a question. how do you protect these collected informations?

we protect your information by requiring the employees who have access to these personal information to treat it as confidential. they will never share it with anyone or use it for a purpose we have not authorised.

what if they share it?

every employees and people working with zazzy are required to fill non disclosure agreement. so every person working with zazzy is legally bound to protect and to not share your information. we have got you covered.

by the way, what information do you collect about me?

we know everything. including your little walk with your dog in the morning.

kidding. :)

let us help you. basically we know and store two types of things:

first, there are things you share with us over our official email address. your name, your email address, and whatever else you choose.

second, there are things your computer and browser tell us (your ip address, software and hardware attributes, the pages you request, and information from our cookie).

hey, what's cookie? i don't have sweet tooth.

not that cookie. a cookie is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on the user's computer by the user's web browser while the user is browsing, to identify that browser during interaction on websites. cookies may be used to store things like identifiers and user preferences. a website may set a cookie to the browser if the browser's preferences allow it. if you don’t want zazzy to use cookies you may change your browser settings to prevent receiving them.

anything else i should know?

yes, we use an analytical tool call splitbee to understand what people are doing on our website, and to improve it periodically. you can check their privacy policy here.

also, did we mention? you must be at least 13 years old to use the site or such greater age required in your country to register for or use the site.

so, what are my right here?

you have the right to see the personal information you’ve provided to us, and to request we delete it from our database within a reasonable time.

okay. fair enough. what do i do if i have any questions or concerns about this privacy policy?

sure. if you want to talk to us about this privacy policy, please email us at humans@zazzy.studio.. that should work.
